When the nurses first told her father and I just moments after she was born, "You've got a feisty one here!" we knew we were in for quite a ride. Alissa has been delightful, articulate, passionate and sometimes challenging since day one.
Lissy delights me with her intelligent wit and unique view of the world...she's willing to travel to the ends of the earth in order to remain true to her spirit and convictions.
Her amazing ability to articulate her feelings through poetry immediately transports me to other worlds. Her personal journey is chronicled in each heartfelt stanza.
Equally passionate and committed to bettering our world, she selflessly engages in various political and environmental projects while also devoting her time to deepening her understanding of global issues..she most definitely walks the walk!
As her life and purpose take us down her winding path, we will continue to hang on for dear life. I can't wait to see what's around the next curve!
